Online orders will be processed, only when your shipment is ready for pickup, (excluding weekends), by your specified shipper (UPS, U. S. Mail). A shipping tracking number will be supplied to you, upon request, and we can assist in the tracking of your package. Business days (Considered Mon. – Fri, excluding weekends & holidays).

If your package is already in transit, simply refuse shipment of the package, and it will automatically be forwarded back to BriteLyt, Inc. When the package arrives, we will then issue a return on any UNOPENED/UNUSED product. Any package that has been opened, will then be subject to a 20% restocking fee, less shipping, and only the price of the product purchased (less 20% fee & shipping costs), will be refunded/credited to your account. No full refund will be issued on any opened product. Shipping costs are non-refundable. (See "RETURNS" below:
Return policy does not apply to Universities, Research Facilities, Military, and other entities, involved in demonstration of, or, for fuel demonstration/testing purposes, not involving BriteLyt, Inc.'s research & testing personnel and/or facilities.

Note: Any product opened and used, can be returned, upon approval, within 14 days of receipt of product; however, total cost for refurbishing the used lantern, will be deducted from your refund. You will be given a written, itemized listing of refurbishing parts & pricing.
"DEMO" (demonstration) lanterns purchased from BriteLyt, Inc., are non-refundable; however, you still receive the one (1) year warranty.

(DO NOT RETURN LANTERN OR STOVE UNIT IN IT'S INDIVIDUAL BOX. RETURN LANTERN OR STOVE IN IT'S ORIGINAL BOX, INSIDE A LARGER, WELL-PROTECTED BOX. (Damage fees will apply if lantern or stove is not boxed properly, all products need to be returned and boxed properly.)

If you send it to any other address, than stated above, you will be charged for any additional charges that can occur. These charges will be added to your credit card or invoiced direct to you.
E-Mail authorizations: Customer Service
No returns are accepted, without proper authorization, and only if authorized and/or warranty conditions apply. Contact our service department at 727-856-9245 or fax us at 813-675-0984, to request authorization. Authorized returns, must be received within ten (10) business days after issue of authorization. You must mark clearly, on the shipping label "AUTHORIZED RETURN". Shipping costs are not the responsibility of BriteLyt, Inc., for returns. After inspection of package, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount (see "Cancellations"), for any UNUSED/UNOPENED product.
In the event that you receive a shipment, which appears to have been damaged or abused, in transit, contact our customer service department, immediately. A damage claim will be filed with the shipper (i.e.....UPS, U. S. Mail, etc.).
BriteLyt, Inc. is not responsible for any shipments delivered, by the aforementioned shippers, to any address other than specified on the Sales Receipt. Contact our customer service department, and we will track this delivery. Appropriate measures, will then be taken to have this package delivered to your address.
SIGNATURE REQUIRED FOR PICKUP OR DELIVERY:
A signature is required for delivery of your package by UPS, U.S. Mail, etc., in order to insure that you have received your product. BriteLyt, Inc. is not responsible for loss/theft of any packages shipped without signature of receipt of merchandise. We do, however, understand that most rural areas do not have physical address, and will take appropriate measures to insure that your package is delivered to you.
Each Sales Receipt, Invoice, etc. will show a "disclaimer", at the bottom of the sheet. This disclaimer states:
"BriteLyt, Inc. hereby provides a limited warranty for one (1) year against defects in workmanship, parts, or materials, excluding glass, mantles, and ceramic nozzle. This warranty shall extend to the purchaser of these products, and to any person to whom such products have been transferred (with proof of purchase), during the warranty period. "Warranty period" begins from date of purchase. Warrantor's obligation, hereunder, shall be limited to repairing defective workmanship or replacing/repairing any defective part or parts.
This warranty shall not apply if:
(a). The product has been altered, repaired, or modified, outside the warrantor's factory, by other than the warrantor's appointed representative.
(b). The product has been subject to misuse, abuse or damage, or has been installed or operated other than in accordance with the operating instructions. BriteLyt, Inc. will not be held responsible for any personal or property damages, as well as loss of property, incurred, during the use of these products."
ORDERS OUTSIDE U.S. : Customs duties fees are applied, as per your country’s requirements. BriteLyt, Inc. is not notified of customs fees before shipping to your country of origin.
Contact your country’s customs agency for fee amounts. BriteLyt, Inc. is not responsible for customs’ fees.

Average rebuild for a 150CP to a 500CP is approx. $10 to $15.00 plus S&H back to you.
Upgrade to BriteLyt standers (105CP to a 500CP) plus a rebuild is approx. $73.00 plus S&H back to you.
